Chicago in B+W Part II

November 27, 2009

Took a trip downtown with the DIP crew again, this time Jeremy and Josh came along too, but I missed them because I missed my train and didn’t arrive till later in the afternoon. And I don’t blame them for leaving early — it was pretty cold, wet, and miserable downtown, so I left after a few hours as well.

No hood internet this time. Tripods are awesome.

Wednesday Afternoon II: Part 4 of a 13-part series of photos documenting my trip to New York:

  • Met up with my brother Ian and cousin Marc outside of the Metropolitan Museum of Art
  • Walked from the middle of Central Park to the south end; saw “Alice in Wonderland”, a castle by a lake, Balto, some rocks, and took some epic portraits
  • Relaxed at Colombus Circle before moving on

Photo notes: Lots of portraits here, my brother and cousin were messing around and posed a lot.

Searching for Hamas

… I mean Hummus. Dave and I went to eat @ Pita Inn after the Soccer tourney and picked up some more food at the shop next door.

Edit: Wait, now that I think about it, I think Dave was looking for Falafel.

In Like A Lion

Summer is finally starting to peek its beautiful face around here with temps in the 80’s, so Zotz and I decided to wander around the quads yesterday.

My TA for Basic Photo (ARTS 260) once anecdote’d to the class about how fledgling photogs on campus typically gravitate towards three things: bikes, squirrels, and trees. This is an ode to fledgling photogs on campus.

…and here’s a panoramic shot of the quad because panoramas are the cool thing to do these days (click for larger version).

Johnny and I wandered around on foot in the afternoon on Unofficial. We took a break indoors.
