I haven’t cut it since the beginning of the summer, and right now it’s slowly but surely getting longer. I’ve tried in the past to let it grow out, but there’s a certain point where it looks way too fugly and I lose patience with getting it to that “golden” place, since my hair grows so slowly.

But, this year I think I might be able to get past the fugly stage. Here’s a chart I drew of what I expect to see with my hair in the future:
