I went to the Taste of Chicago on the afternoon of the 3rd with friends and we ate giant turkey legs (like baby dinosaurs) and watched the fireworks on the lakefront. I bought a remote shutter and used it for the first time.I sort of just winged the exposures for the fireworks, I’ll be sure to reference some online in the future. Anyway, the whole day was a really fun time, one of the funnest I’ve had in a while. Enjoy!

    Nice eye buddy.
This is the first year maybe in my life I didn’t go to the taste (I still did, I ran in for a second last week)
Last year there was alot of gang trouble on the third, glad to see you had enough street cred to stay safe.

Yeah, it was pretty crazy getting out of there. It was like all of the hood from Chicago decided to show up at the end. I didn’t bring a bag so I held onto my camera tight and was ready to smack a bitch in the face with my tripod.

PS. I RAN INTO BRAD VEST! He is so cool. :P
