Hi, everyone! I'm Dean Santarinala, a 23 year old photographer from Chicago, Illinois. I have worked as a photojournalist and designer since 2006, but art has been a love of mine ever since I can remember. Shot hockey from the penalty box on Friday. They fixed the lights in the Ice Arena, and now the color temperature of the place is so much better. Sports are such a thrill to shoot, the athletes move so fast and are full of so much raw emotion. But there’s always those missed shots, too. Oh well.

WordPress just randomly changed my blog design so the columns were narrower. Had to switch to something else to make my photos show up as normal. I’ve been shooting a lot recently, but balancing between work, school, and play has been very frustrating for the past week or so. Bleh.
Edit: They brought back the old version. Yay!
