Mostly because I’m wearing my old glasses from Senior year of high school. Yep, the old, boxy, and metallic frames. I’ve so come to love my thick-black, plastic glasses. What happened was that on Sunday morning, I accidentally stepped on ‘em after they fell on the ground — and the frames broke completely. It made me pretty sad on an already sad morning (ugh, Cubs), since they’re so trendy and iconic.

I think it will be a while before I go ahead and buy a new pair of frames. I’ve got a pretty large stash of contact lenses and these old spectacles will be ok for around the house. For now, I mourn the loss of my favorite pair of glasses ever.
